Description
The Tissot PRC 200 Quartz Chronograph is a 43 mm round stainless-steel sports watch powered by the quartz ETA G10.212 calibre, fitted with a black dial and a rubber strap.
Case & crystal
The 43 mm round stainless-steel case measures 12.02 mm in thickness and is topped with a sapphire crystal, which resists scratches better than mineral or acrylic alternatives. A fixed stainless-steel bezel carries a tachymeter scale for measuring average speed over a known distance. The rubber strap is secured by a standard buckle.
Dial
The black dial displays Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, with luminous hands for low-light legibility. Three chronograph subdials track elapsed time, while a date window sits within the layout. The tachymeter scale is repeated on the bezel, allowing the wearer to calculate speed by timing an event over one kilometre.
Movement

Care guide
- Rinse the stainless-steel case and rubber strap with fresh water after exposure to chlorine, salt water or perspiration, then dry with a soft cloth.
- Do not operate the chronograph pushers or pull out the crown while the watch is wet or submerged, as water may enter the case and damage the movement.
- Have the water-resistance seals tested and replaced every two to three years, ideally when the battery is changed, to maintain the 200-metre rating.
- Store the watch away from strong magnetic fields (speakers, laptop clasps, magnetic phone mounts), which can interfere with quartz timekeeping accuracy.
- Avoid exposing the sapphire crystal to sharp impacts against hard surfaces such as tile or concrete, which can chip the edge of the crystal even though sapphire resists scratches.
- If the rubber strap becomes stiff or develops cracks, replace it promptly to prevent the watch from detaching from the wrist.
