Description
The Seiko SSB413P1 is a quartz chronograph with a 43mm round stainless steel case, a textured black dial and a stainless steel bracelet, powered by calibre 8T63.
Case & crystal
The round case is stainless steel and measures 43mm across by 11.6mm thick, with a fixed stainless steel bezel carrying a tachymeter scale. A sapphire crystal covers the dial, giving a hard, scratch-resistant window over the three sub-dials. Case and bracelet are both stainless steel, so the piece reads as one continuous finish from lugs to clasp.
Dial
The black dial has a textured surface that breaks up reflections and gives the three sub-dials clear definition. One of them is a 24-hour sub-dial, and a date window sits at 4:30. Lumibrite hands and indices hold a glow for reading in low light, while a lime green chronograph seconds hand adds the single note of colour.
Movement
Calibre 8T63 is a quartz movement. It drives the chronograph and the date, along with the tachymeter and small seconds complications listed for this reference, so timing short intervals needs only the pushers.
Bracelet & fit
The stainless steel bracelet closes with a three-fold clasp with push button release, which secures the watch and opens with a single press. It suits men's wrists.

Care guide
- Wipe the stainless steel case and bracelet with a soft, slightly damp cloth after wear to remove sweat and dust.
- Rinse in fresh water after swimming and dry the bracelet and clasp, as the watch is water resistant to 100m.
- Keep the crown and chronograph pushers away from water pressure from taps or hoses.
- Avoid knocks against hard edges; the sapphire crystal resists scratching but can still chip on a sharp impact.
