Description
Seiko has built its name on precise, dependable timekeeping, and the SSB405P1 carries that lineage into a quartz chronograph with a 41mm round case, a green dial with a dimensional embossed finish and a stainless steel bracelet.
Case & crystal
The round case is stainless steel, measures 41mm across and stands 12.3mm thick. The bracelet is also stainless steel, so case and band match. A Hardlex crystal covers the dial, and a fixed bezel carries the tachymeter scale.
Dial
The green dial has a dimensional embossed surface that gives the face visible depth. A 24-hour sub-dial sits alongside the chronograph layout, and a date display completes the main readings. LumiBrite hands and markers hold their lume for reading in low light, while the tachymeter scale on the bezel lets you read speed over a measured distance.
Movement

Supplied with the 3-year international Seiko warranty, valid when purchased from an authorised retailer and registered at purchase through Cassims & Co. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover normal wear, batteries, straps, glass, or damage from misuse or water ingress through an unscrewed crown.

Care guide
- Rinse the stainless steel case and bracelet with fresh water after swimming, then dry with a soft cloth.
- Wipe the Hardlex crystal with a microfibre cloth and avoid sharp knocks against hard edges.
