Description
The Rotary Ultra Slim (reference GB08013/01) is a 38mm quartz men's watch with a silver guilloché dial, Roman numerals and a gold-tone stainless steel bracelet.
Case & crystal
The round case is gold-tone stainless steel and measures 38mm across with a thickness of just 5.7mm, which gives it a restrained case profile. A sapphire crystal covers the dial, so the face is well protected against everyday scratching. Case and bracelet share the same gold-tone stainless steel, so the colour reads consistently from lugs to clasp.
Dial
The silver dial carries a guilloché pattern, a fine engraved texture that catches the light at different angles. Roman numerals mark the hours, black hands read cleanly against the silver, and a date window shows the day of the month.
Movement
A quartz movement drives the watch, keeping time steadily and powering the date complication without any manual winding. The date is the only complication, which keeps the dial uncluttered.
Bracelet & fit
The bracelet is gold-tone stainless steel, matching the case. Bring your wrist measurement to the showroom and we can check the fit and advise on sizing.
On the wrist
At 38mm and 5.7mm thick, the watch has modest wrist presence and slips easily under a shirt cuff. That suits slimmer to medium wrists and makes it a natural choice for business, formal dress and daily wear. Its Roman numerals and guilloché dial lean towards dressier settings rather than sport.
Water resistance
The watch is water resistant to 50 metres. In plain terms, it will cope with splashes and rain, but it is not intended for swimming or diving. It is covered by the 2-year international Rotary warranty.

Warranty
Supplied with the 2-year international Rotary warranty, valid when purchased from an authorised retailer and registered at purchase through Cassims & Co. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover normal wear, batteries, straps, glass, or damage from misuse or water ingress through an unscrewed crown.
Our watch service centre in Johannesburg handles warranty work, batteries, bracelet sizing and servicing.
Care guide
- Wipe the gold-tone stainless steel case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth after wearing to remove oils and fingerprints.
- Keep the watch away from heavy splashing, soaps and chemicals; the 50 metre rating is suited to splashes and rain only.
- Do not operate the date window by hand while the watch is in contact with water.
- Store the watch away from abrasive surfaces, even though the sapphire crystal resists scratching.
- Have the quartz movement checked at the first sign of irregular timekeeping, and bring it to us for watch servicing and repairs.
