Description
The Police Malawi (PEWJF0004602) is a 45mm quartz chronograph with a skeletonised grey dial, a black IP stainless steel case and a leather strap, with the black IP finish running unbroken across the round case.
Case & crystal
The round case is stainless steel with a black IP finish, measuring 45mm in diameter, and a fixed bezel frames the dial. The case is black while the band is leather, so the finish of the metal contrasts with the texture of the strap. A mineral crystal covers the dial.
Dial
The grey dial is skeletonised, opening up the layout beneath the sub-dials. Blue accents on the sub-dials and hands add contrast against the grey. The day sub-dial sits at 12 o'clock, the date sub-dial at 6 o'clock and the 24-hour sub-dial at 9 o'clock, alongside a chronograph minute counter. Luminous hour markers and hands keep the time legible in low light.
Movement
A quartz movement drives the Malawi. Its complications are the chronograph, day-date and small seconds, so timing and calendar information are read from the sub-dials without a separate display.
Bracelet & fit
