Description
The Police Huntley is a 48mm quartz dual time watch, its gunmetal IP stainless steel case and faceted bezel finished in a dark, uniform tone that sets off the grey dial, and worn on a leather strap.
Case & crystal
The round case is stainless steel with a gunmetal IP finish, measuring 48mm across and 14.5mm thick. A gunmetal-tone faceted bezel frames the dial, catching light along its angled planes. The case is steel while the band is leather, so the cool metallic finish contrasts with a softer material against the skin. A mineral crystal covers the dial.
Dial
The grey dial has a honeycomb-textured centre that gives the surface depth without cluttering it. Applied faceted indices mark the hours, and luminous hands aid reading in low light. Two sub-dials share the layout: a 24-hour sub-dial and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock. A 5 ATM marking is printed on the dial.
Movement
Inside is the VX9J quartz calibre. It drives the dual time function, which lets you follow a second time zone through the 24-hour sub-dial, alongside the small seconds display.
Bracelet & fit
The watch is fitted to a leather strap rather than a metal bracelet. Leather suits a case of this size, and its give lets the watch settle against the wrist over time.

Supplied with the 2-year international Police warranty, valid when purchased from an authorised retailer and registered at purchase through Cassims & Co. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover normal wear, batteries, straps, glass, or damage from misuse or water ingress through an unscrewed crown.
Our watch service centre in Johannesburg handles warranty work, batteries, bracelet sizing and servicing.
Care guide
- Wipe the gunmetal IP stainless steel case with a soft, dry microfibre cloth to remove fingerprints and moisture.
- Keep the leather strap away from water, even though the case is rated to 50 m, as moisture can mark and stiffen leather.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners and rough surfaces, which can wear an IP finish over time.
- Do not swim or dive with the watch; the 50 m (5 ATM) rating is for splashes and everyday exposure.
