This pre-owned watch is covered by the Cassims & Co. six-month dealer warranty on the movement, from the date of purchase. It has been inspected and tested by our in-house watch service centre before sale.
This is a dealer warranty, not a manufacturer warranty: it covers the mechanicals only and excludes cosmetic wear, battery, strap or bracelet, and water damage. Any remaining original manufacturer warranty, where applicable and transferable, applies in addition.
Care guide
- Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft, lint-free cloth after wear to remove perspiration, dust and oils that can dull the polished surfaces.
- Rinse the watch under lukewarm tap water after exposure to chlorine, salt water or cosmetics, then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
- Avoid exposing the watch to strong magnetic fields—speakers, laptop clasps, magnetic phone mounts—which can affect quartz accuracy over time.
- Have the battery replaced by a qualified watchmaker as soon as the seconds hand begins to jump in two- or four-second intervals; a depleted battery left in place can leak and damage the movement.
- Store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use, and avoid leaving it on a radiator or windowsill where temperature fluctuations can stress the seals.
- Book a water-resistance test and gasket inspection every two to three years if you swim or shower regularly with the watch, to ensure the seals remain effective.
