The GUESS Traction GW0800G1 is a 44mm quartz chronograph with a textured green dial and a two-tone stainless steel bracelet, built for men who like a substantial case on the wrist.
Case & crystal
The round case is two-tone stainless steel, measuring 44mm across and 12.5mm thick, with a fixed stainless steel bezel carrying numerals. The bracelet is also two-tone stainless steel, so case and band share the same finish and read as one piece in the hand. A mineral crystal covers the dial.
Dial
The green dial is textured and carries three sub-dials: day and date sub-dials alongside a 24-hour sub-dial. Gold-tone hands and indices stand out against the green ground and keep the layout easy to read.
Movement
A quartz movement drives the chronograph, day-date and date functions, giving dependable timekeeping with minimal fuss. When the time comes, our watch servicing and repairs team can look after it. The piece is covered by the manufacturer's warranty: 2-year international GUESS warranty.

Warranty
Supplied with the 2-year international GUESS warranty, valid when purchased from an authorised retailer and registered at purchase through Cassims & Co. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover normal wear, batteries, straps, glass, or damage from misuse or water ingress through an unscrewed crown.
Our watch service centre in Johannesburg handles warranty work, batteries, bracelet sizing and servicing.
Care guide
- Wipe the two-tone stainless steel case and bracelet with a soft, lint-free cloth after wearing to remove skin oils.
- With a 50 metre water resistance rating, rinse only with fresh water if needed, and avoid swimming, diving and hot showers.
- Keep the mineral crystal away from hard surfaces and abrasive materials to limit scratching.
- Press the clasp push buttons firmly and check the fold-over clasp is closed before wearing.
- Have the quartz movement checked at our watch servicing and repairs, including battery replacement when the watch stops.
