Description
The Fossil Raquel Three-Hand Date, reference ES5221, is the rectangular quartz model from the Raquel collection, pairing a 23mm case and white satin-finish dial with a stainless steel bracelet; it sits within our range of Fossil watches.
Case & crystal
The rectangular case is stainless steel and measures 23mm across by 6mm thick, giving a slim case profile. The crystal is mineral glass, which protects the dial from everyday knocks and abrasion. Case and bracelet are both stainless steel, so the finish reads as one continuous piece.
Dial
The white dial carries a satin finish that diffuses light rather than flashing it. Roman numerals mark the hours, the Fossil logo sits beneath twelve, and a date aperture at 6 o'clock keeps the calendar visible without crowding the numerals. Three hands handle hours, minutes and seconds.
Movement
Inside is a quartz movement, driven by a battery rather than a mainspring. It needs no winding, and the date complication advances automatically. The piece is covered by the manufacturer's warranty: 2-year international Fossil warranty.

Supplied with the 2-year international Fossil warranty, valid when purchased from an authorised retailer and registered at purchase through Cassims & Co. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover normal wear, batteries, straps, glass, or damage from misuse or water ingress through an unscrewed crown.
Our watch service centre in Johannesburg handles warranty work, batteries, bracelet sizing and servicing.
Care guide
- Wipe the stainless steel case and bracelet with a soft, lint-free cloth after wear to remove skin oils and moisture.
- Rinse with fresh water after exposure to splashes or rain, then dry thoroughly; the 50 m rating does not cover swimming or diving.
