Description
The Fossil Minimalist 44 mm Three-Hand Light (reference FS5305) comes from the Minimalist collection, a line built on pared-back dials and clean proportions, and pairs a quartz movement with a black matte dial and a leather strap. Explore more Fossil watches alongside it.
Case & crystal
The round case measures 44 mm across and is made from black IP stainless steel, finished to match the fixed black stainless steel bezel. The crystal is mineral. The case is black steel while the band is leather, so the watch reads as a dark, low-contrast whole.
Dial
The black dial has a matte/satin finish that keeps reflections down. Luminescent stick indices carry lume for low-light reading, a fine minute track runs around the edge, and an orange seconds hand adds the single note of colour against the black.
Movement
A quartz movement drives the three-hand display (hours, minutes and seconds), a practical choice for a watch intended for regular wear.
Bracelet & fit

Supplied with the 2-year international Fossil warranty, valid when purchased from an authorised retailer and registered at purchase through Cassims & Co. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover normal wear, batteries, straps, glass, or damage from misuse or water ingress through an unscrewed crown.

Care guide
- Wipe the black IP stainless steel case with a soft, dry microfibre cloth to remove fingerprints and dust.
- Keep the leather strap away from soaking and prolonged moisture; dry it gently if it gets damp, even though the case is rated to 50 m.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners and rough surfaces, which can mark the black IP finish.
- Do not use the watch for swimming or diving, as the 50 m rating is intended for splashes and everyday exposure.
- Have the quartz movement checked by a qualified watch technician if the seconds hand stops or the time drifts.
- Fasten the pin buckle gently and store the watch away from heat and direct sunlight to protect the leather.
