Description
The Machine Chronograph FS6096 comes from the Machine collection within our range of Fossil watches, a 44 mm quartz chronograph with a blue textured dial and a stainless steel bracelet.
Case & crystal
The round case is stainless steel and measures 44 mm across by 11.9 mm thick. A knurled stainless steel topring frames the dial and gives the bezel area a grippy, machined look. Protecting the dial is a mineral crystal. Case and bracelet share the same stainless steel, so the finish reads as one consistent piece.
Dial
The blue dial carries a vertical stripe texture that catches the light in narrow bands rather than a flat wash of colour. Three chronograph sub-dials give the layout its tool-watch character, while baton hour markers keep the time easy to read. The hands are luminous, so the time stays legible in dim light.
Movement
A quartz movement drives the watch, with a chronograph for timing short events and a small seconds display. Quartz accuracy suits those who want to check the time or time a task without winding or setting a mechanical calibre.
Bracelet & fit
The stainless steel bracelet closes with a push-button deployment clasp, which keeps the bracelet closed on the wrist and opens with a press when you take the watch off. Warranty
Supplied with the 2-year international Fossil warranty, valid when purchased from an authorised retailer and registered at purchase through Cassims & Co. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover normal wear, batteries, straps, glass, or damage from misuse or water ingress through an unscrewed crown.
Our watch service centre in Johannesburg handles warranty work, batteries, bracelet sizing and servicing.
Care guide
- Wipe the stainless steel case and bracelet with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove skin oils and dust.
- Keep the watch away from swimming, diving and hot showers; the 50 m rating is intended for splashes and rain.
- Dry the bracelet after any contact with water, paying attention to the links and the push-button deployment clasp.
- Avoid knocks against hard edges, as the mineral crystal can mark with heavy impact.
- When the quartz battery needs replacing, have it done by a qualified watch technician so the case seals are checked.
- Press the chronograph pushers gently and only when the crown is in its normal position.
