Description
Within the Jacqueline collection, the Fossil ES5167 Sun Moon Multifunction pairs a 36mm round case and quartz movement with a mother-of-pearl dial and a gold-tone stainless steel bracelet, and it is one of the many Fossil watches we stock.
Case & crystal
The round case is gold-tone stainless steel, 36mm across and 8mm thick. A fixed gold-tone bezel is set with crystals, framing the dial. Protection comes from a mineral crystal, which is the glass over the dial. The case and the bracelet are the same gold-tone stainless steel, so the colour carries through from bezel to clasp.
Dial
The mother-of-pearl dial has a guilloché, textured finish that catches the light at different angles. Roman numerals mark the hours, and gold-tone hands sweep across the surface. At 6 o'clock, a sun and moon day-night subdial sits alongside the moonphase complication, giving the dial its celestial character.
Movement
A quartz movement drives the ES5167, so the time is kept by an electronic oscillator instead of a wound mainspring. Quartz suits a watch that is worn often and picked up without ceremony. When the time comes for a battery change or a check-up, our team can assist with watch servicing and repairs.
Bracelet & fit
The gold-tone stainless steel bracelet is closed by a two-pusher foldover (deployment) clasp. Pressing both pushers releases the clasp, and folding it shut secures the bracelet against accidental opening while keeping the strap tidy against the wrist.

Supplied with the 2-year international Fossil warranty, valid when purchased from an authorised retailer and registered at purchase through Cassims & Co. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover normal wear, batteries, straps, glass, or damage from misuse or water ingress through an unscrewed crown.

Care guide
- Wipe the gold-tone stainless steel case and bracelet with a soft, dry microfibre cloth after wearing to remove skin oils and moisture.
- Keep the watch away from soaking, showers and swimming; the 30 metre rating covers splashes and light rain only.
- Clean the crystal-set bezel gently with a soft, dry brush or cloth, avoiding harsh pressure around the crystals.
- Protect the mineral crystal from knocks and hard surfaces, and avoid abrasive cleaners on the textured mother-of-pearl dial area.
- Have the quartz movement checked when the battery runs low, and use a qualified watch technician for any battery change.
- Close the foldover clasp fully, with both pushers engaged, each time you put the watch on.
