Description
The Daniel Klein Exclusive reference DK113852-5 is a quartz chronograph with a 45mm round case, a black dial with three sub-dials and a gunmetal IP stainless steel bracelet.
Case & crystal
The round case is gunmetal IP stainless steel, 45mm in diameter and 10mm thick, and the bracelet is finished in the same gunmetal IP stainless steel, so case and band match. A fixed tachymeter bezel frames the dial, with the scale sitting on the bezel rather than turning.
Dial
The black dial carries applied indices and luminous hands, so the time stays legible in low light. Three sub-dials organise the chronograph and dual time functions, a blue chronograph hand adds a single contrast accent against the dark layout, and a date window sits on the dial for the calendar.
Movement
Inside is a quartz movement driving the chronograph, date, tachymeter and dual time complications. Quartz timekeeping suits a watch with this many functions, as the hands are driven electronically rather than by a mainspring and the movement needs no daily winding. Supplied with the 1-year Daniel Klein warranty, valid when purchased from an authorised retailer and registered at purchase through Cassims & Co. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover normal wear, batteries, straps, glass, or damage from misuse or water ingress through an unscrewed crown.
Our watch service centre in Johannesburg handles warranty work, batteries, bracelet sizing and servicing.
Care guide
- Wipe the gunmetal IP stainless steel case and bracelet with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to remove oils and dust.
- Avoid abrasive cloths and harsh cleaners, as they can wear the IP finish over time.
- With 50 metres of water resistance, keep the watch clear of swimming, diving and hot showers.
- Dry the watch after any contact with water or sweat, including the fold-over clasp.
- Quartz movements need a battery change when the second hand or chronograph stops behaving normally, and we can arrange this through watch servicing.
