Description
The Daniel Klein Exclusive Chronograph, reference DK113740-5, is a quartz men's watch from the Exclusive collection of the Daniel Klein range, with a 43mm round case, a black dial with rose gold-tone detailing and a black IP stainless steel bracelet.
Case & crystal
The round case is made from black IP stainless steel and measures 43mm in diameter. Case and bracelet share the same black IP stainless steel finish, so the watch reads as one continuous dark tone from lug to clasp.
Dial
The black dial carries applied rose gold-tone hour markers and rose gold-tone hands, which stand out clearly against the dark background. Three sub-dials frame the chronograph layout, and the seconds sub-dial is edged with a rose gold-tone ring. A date window sits at 4 o'clock.
Movement
A quartz movement powers the watch and drives two complications: the chronograph and the date. Quartz timekeeping suits a chronograph well, as the sub-dials and date aperture are driven by a single battery-powered calibre.
Bracelet & fit
The black IP stainless steel bracelet closes with a push-button deployment clasp. A deployant clasp keeps the bracelet closed on the wrist and opens fully for putting the watch on and taking it off. Supplied with the 1-year Daniel Klein warranty, valid when purchased from an authorised retailer and registered at purchase through Cassims & Co. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover normal wear, batteries, straps, glass, or damage from misuse or water ingress through an unscrewed crown.
Our watch service centre in Johannesburg handles warranty work, batteries, bracelet sizing and servicing.
Care guide
- Wipe the black IP stainless steel case and bracelet with a soft, dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth after wearing.
- Avoid abrasive cloths and polishing compounds, which can wear the black IP finish over time.
- Keep the watch away from hot water and steam, and do not exceed its 50 metre water resistance rating.
- Do not press the chronograph pushers while the watch is wet.
- Have the quartz movement checked and the battery replaced by a qualified watchmaker.
