Description
The Casio MTP-1314D 7A pairs the Casio Module 2784 quartz movement with a 44.9mm round case, a white vertical-stripe dial and a stainless steel bracelet.
Case & crystal
The round case is stainless steel and measures 44.9mm across by 9.4mm thick, topped by a fixed, polished stainless steel bezel. The crystal is mineral glass. Case and bracelet share the same stainless steel, so the finish reads as one continuous piece from bezel to clasp.
Dial
The white dial carries a vertical stripe texture that catches the light in fine lines rather than a flat sheen. Arabic numerals and baton indices mark the hours, and a date window sits at 3 o'clock for quick reference.
Movement
Inside is the Casio Module 2784, a quartz calibre. Quartz timekeeping is regulated by an electronic oscillator rather than a mainspring, which suits a watch worn daily. The only complication is the date.
