Part of the Casio MTP-1314D family of three-hand-plus-date dress-leaning analogues, this Casio MTP-1314D 2A pairs a quartz movement with a 44.9mm round case, a blue vertical-line dial and a stainless steel bracelet. Case & crystal
The round case is stainless steel and measures 44.9mm across by 9.4mm thick. A polished stainless steel bezel frames the dial, and the case and bracelet share the same stainless steel construction. The crystal is mineral, which protects the dial and hands from everyday knocks.
Dial
The blue dial carries a vertical line texture that catches the light in fine, even bands. Arabic numerals mark 12, 3, 6 and 9, while baton hour markers fill the remaining positions. A date aperture sits at 3 o'clock, and a red seconds hand adds a sharp accent against the blue. A Water Resist 50M marking is printed on the dial.
Movement
Inside is a quartz movement, which keeps time by means of a regulated crystal oscillator. The date is the only complication, so the layout stays uncluttered and quick to read.
