Description
Casio built its reputation on the G-SHOCK principle of toughness, and the G-SQUAD GBD-200-7D carries that lineage into a digital, Bluetooth-linked sports watch: a 45.9 mm octagonal resin case, a Memory-in-Pixel positive display and a resin strap with a buckle.
Case & crystal
The octagonal case is moulded in resin and measures 45.9 mm across by 15 mm thick, with a resin bezel framing the display. The case and strap are both resin, so the whole watch shares one material. The crystal is mineral glass, and a honeycomb pattern is printed on the glass above the display.
Dial
The Memory-in-Pixel (MIP) positive display presents dark digits on a light ground. A Bluetooth indicator shows the connection status, and the Super Illuminator LED backlight lights the display in low light. The dial colour is listed as digital, and the readout carries day-date information alongside the main time.
Movement
Inside is digital calibre 3506. Its functions include date, day-date, alarm, world time, stopwatch, backlight and a step counter, so the watch works as a training companion as well as a daily timekeeper.
Bracelet & fit
The resin strap closes with a buckle, which allows fine adjustment across the strap's holes for a secure fit over a sleeve or on a bare wrist. This model is unisex.
