Description
The Casio G-SHOCK GA-2200NC-7A is an analogue-digital watch with a 47.1 mm round carbon case, a silver dial and a resin strap, and its finish is led by a matte carbon case and a carbon and resin bezel rather than polished surfaces.
Case & crystal
The round case is made of carbon and measures 47.1 mm across and 13.1 mm thick. It is built around the Carbon Core Guard structure, and the bezel combines carbon and resin. The crystal is mineral. The case is carbon while the strap is resin, so the watch pairs a rigid shell with a flexible band.
Dial
The silver dial carries an analog-digital display, with Neobrite hands and indexes for low-light reading. A hand shift feature lets you move the analogue hands out of the way of the digital readout. A double LED light illuminates the display in the dark.
Movement
This is an analogue-digital movement with a full set of functions: date, day-date, chronograph, stopwatch, alarm and world time, plus a backlight. That covers timing, travel and daily scheduling from one watch.
Bracelet & fit
The resin strap keeps weight down against the 47.1 mm case and suits daily wear and active use. As a men's model, it is cut for those who like a substantial watch.

Supplied with the 1-year international Casio warranty, valid when purchased from an authorised retailer and registered at purchase through Cassims & Co. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover normal wear, batteries, straps, glass, or damage from misuse or water ingress through an unscrewed crown.
Our watch service centre in Johannesburg handles warranty work, batteries, bracelet sizing and servicing.
Care guide
- Rinse the case and resin strap with fresh water after swimming, then dry with a soft cloth.
- Wipe the mineral crystal with a microfibre cloth to remove fingerprints and dust.
- Keep the watch away from solvents and harsh chemicals, which can affect the resin strap and bezel.
- Have the seals checked periodically to maintain the 200 m water resistance.
- Store it away from prolonged direct heat when not worn, to protect the resin components.
