The Casio VINTAGE AQ-230A-7AMQY pairs an analogue-digital quartz movement, calibre 5154, with a 38.8 mm square case, a silver dial and a stainless steel bracelet.
Case & crystal
The square case is moulded in resin and measures 38.8 mm across by 8.1 mm thick. A fixed chrome plated resin bezel frames the dial, so the case and the bracelet differ in material: a light resin head on a stainless steel band. The crystal is resin as well, in keeping with the case.
Dial
The silver dial carries baton indices and baton hands for a clean read of the hour and minute. A digital display window sits at 6 o'clock, and the dial is marked with the Casio Quartz logo and Water Resist text. The mix of analogue hands and a compact digital aperture is the signature of this VINTAGE line.
Movement
