Description
Casio's VINTAGE line draws on the brand's long tradition of compact digital watches, and the AQ-240E-1ADF carries that lineage into a 40.9 mm square Analogue-Digital watch with calibre 5154, a black sunray dial and a stainless steel bracelet.
Case & crystal
The square case is made of resin and measures 40.9 mm across by 8.1 mm thick, with a chrome plated resin bezel framing the dial. The crystal is also resin. The stainless steel bracelet differs from the resin case, so the watch pairs a light head with a metal band.
Dial
The black dial has a sunray finish that shifts in tone as the light moves across it. Baton indexes mark the hours, a digital LCD display sits at 6 o'clock, and the dial carries both a Water Resist WR marking and a Quartz marking.
Movement
Calibre 5154 is an Analogue-Digital quartz movement. Alongside the analogue hands it drives Date and Day-Date readouts, an Alarm, World Time, Dual Time and a Stopwatch, so the LCD at 6 o'clock handles the extra functions while the hands keep the time.
Bracelet & fit
The stainless steel bracelet closes with an adjustable clasp, which allows the fit to be set to the wrist. If the bracelet needs resizing or the watch needs attention later, our watch servicing and repairs team can help. The watch is covered by the 1-year international Casio warranty.
