Description
The Casio MTS-120D-3AVDF is a quartz watch with a 39 mm round stainless steel case, a green dial and a matching stainless steel bracelet.
Case & crystal
The round case is stainless steel and measures 39 mm across by 8.3 mm thick, with a stainless steel bezel framing the dial. Case and bracelet share the same material, so the finishing reads as one continuous piece from bezel to clasp. A sapphire crystal sits over the dial, and the dial itself carries a sapphire print.
Dial
The green dial is set with gold-tone baton hour markers and gold-tone hands, a pairing that stands out against the green ground. The hands and markers are luminous for reading in low light. An outer minute track with numerals runs around the edge, and a WR 50M print sits on the dial. This is part of the Casio Classic collection.
Movement
Inside is a quartz movement, which keeps time through a battery-driven oscillator rather than a wound mainspring. It needs no daily winding and suits a watch that is worn and put down as part of a normal routine.
Bracelet & fit

Warranty
Supplied with the 1-year international Casio warranty, valid when purchased from an authorised retailer and registered at purchase through Cassims & Co. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover normal wear, batteries, straps, glass, or damage from misuse or water ingress through an unscrewed crown.
Our watch service centre in Johannesburg handles warranty work, batteries, bracelet sizing and servicing.
Care guide
- Wipe the stainless steel case and bracelet with a soft, slightly damp cloth after wear to remove skin oils and dust.
- The 50 m water resistance suits splashes and rain; avoid swimming, diving and hot showers.
- Rinse the bracelet in fresh water after sweat or salt exposure, then dry it thoroughly, including between the links.
- Store the watch away from strong magnets and sharp objects; the sapphire crystal resists scratches but a hard knock can still damage the case.
- As a quartz watch, it will eventually need a battery change; have it done by a watch specialist so the case stays sealed.
