Description
The Casio HDC-700-1A is an analogue-digital watch from the Youth collection, powered by calibre 5565, with a 48.8mm round case, a black dial and a resin strap.
Case & crystal
The finishing here is uniform and utilitarian: the 48.8mm round case, the bezel and the strap are all moulded in resin, so case and band share the same material and the same matte, low-glare character. The crystal is also resin, listed separately from the case, and sits within the resin bezel. At 16.6mm thick, the case profile is tall and purposeful.
Dial
The black dial carries a textured centre pattern that gives the face depth without glare. Luminous hands and hour markers keep the time legible in low light, and a digital window sits within the analogue layout. A red "10 YEAR BATTERY" text adds a single note of colour against the black.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover normal wear, batteries, straps, glass, or damage from misuse or water ingress through an unscrewed crown.

- Rinse the resin case and strap with fresh water after exposure to salt water or chlorine, then dry with a soft cloth.
- Clean the textured dial surround and bezel gently with a damp, soft cloth; avoid solvents on the resin.
