Description
The Casio G-SHOCK GA-2100FF-8ADR is an analogue-digital men's watch with calibre 5611, a 45.4 mm octagonal case, a silver dial and a resin strap, and it is part of our range of Casio watches.
Case & bezel
The case is resin, finished with a carbon / resin octagonal bezel that gives the profile its sharp, faceted outline. At 11.8 mm thick, the case stays slim for a G-SHOCK, and the case and strap are both resin, so the whole watch shares one light, matte feel.
Dial
The silver dial carries a hairline finish that catches the light in fine linear grain. Raised hour indices sit against it, with Neobrite lume for reading the time in low light. A day sub-dial at 9 o'clock balances the digital display, and "WR 20BAR" is printed on the dial.
Movement
Calibre 5611 pairs analogue hands with a digital display. It provides Day-Date, Alarm, World Time, Stopwatch and Backlight functions, so one watch covers timekeeping across several time zones and short timed intervals.
Strap & fit
The resin strap fastens with a buckle, which allows a precise, secure fit across the strap's holes. Resin is a light material, so the 45.4 mm case does not pull on the wrist over a long day.

With a 45.4 mm octagonal case and a thickness of 11.8 mm, this watch has solid wrist presence and suits medium to larger wrists. The matte resin construction reads as casual and sporty, which suits everyday wear, weekends and outdoor use more than dress occasions. The World Time function also makes it useful for travel.
Water resistance
Water resistance is rated at 200 metres (20 BAR), as printed on the dial. In plain terms, it is built to cope with swimming, showering and water sports, well beyond splashes and rain.

Warranty
Supplied with the 1-year international Casio warranty, valid when purchased from an authorised retailer and registered at purchase through Cassims & Co. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover normal wear, batteries, straps, glass, or damage from misuse or water ingress through an unscrewed crown.
Our watch service centre in Johannesburg handles warranty work, batteries, bracelet sizing and servicing.
Care guide
- Rinse the resin case and strap with fresh water after swimming or heavy sweating, and dry with a soft cloth.
- Wipe the silver dial's surrounding case with a damp, soft cloth; avoid solvents and harsh cleaners on the resin.
- Check the buckle and strap holes periodically for wear, and keep the strap clean so it stays supple.
- Keep the watch away from prolonged high heat, such as a car dashboard, to protect the resin.
- Have the watch checked through watch servicing and repairs if the display, buttons or water resistance seem affected.
