Description
The Casio EDIFICE EFV-540D-1AVUDF carries the EDIFICE line's chronograph-led design into a 43.8 mm round quartz watch with a black dial and a stainless steel bracelet.
Case & crystal
The round case is stainless steel, measures 43.8 mm across and sits 11.6 mm thick. A mineral crystal protects the dial. Case and bracelet are both stainless steel, so the finish reads as one continuous piece. A black aluminium bezel with a tachymeter-style scale frames the dial.
Dial
The black dial is built around chronograph sub-dials and a separate 24-hour sub-dial. Luminous applied indices and luminous hands keep the time legible in low light. A date window sits at 4 o'clock, and red accents add contrast against the black.
Movement
A quartz movement drives the time, date and chronograph. The stopwatch function makes it straightforward to time short events, and the tachymeter-style scale on the bezel sits alongside it. For watch servicing and repairs, our team can advise on looking after the movement over the years.
Bracelet & fit

Care guide
- Rinse the stainless steel case and bracelet with fresh water after swimming, then dry with a soft cloth.
- Wipe the mineral crystal with a microfibre cloth and avoid knocks against hard edges.
- Clean between the bracelet links with a soft brush to remove dust and skin oils.
