This is a 9ct yellow gold engagement ring set with 0.23 carats of diamonds in an oval illusion cluster with a pavé halo surround.
The stone
The centre is formed by an oval illusion cluster, in which a group of smaller diamonds is arranged to create the appearance of a single, larger oval stone. Surrounding this cluster is a pavé halo, where tiny diamonds are set close together to frame the centre. The halo is finished with a milgrain beaded edge, a delicate raised detail that traces the perimeter. The total diamond weight across the ring is 0.23 carats. Diamonds continue along the shoulders in a pavé setting, graduating in size as they taper toward the band.
Setting & band
The illusion setting uses white claws to secure the centre stones against a yellow gold frame, creating a subtle contrast that draws the eye to the cluster. Warranty
There is no formal manufacturer warranty on jewellery, but Cassims & Co. guarantees its workmanship: if a manufacturing defect or craftsmanship issue appears, we will repair or replace the piece at no charge. Normal wear, accidental damage, lost stones from knocks, and alterations by third parties are not covered.
Professional cleaning, inspection, claw checks and resizing are available at either showroom.
Care guide
- Remove the ring before applying hand cream, lotion or cleaning products, as residue can build up under the pavé stones and dull their sparkle.
- Clean the ring every few weeks by soaking it in warm water with a drop of mild detergent, then gently brush the setting with a soft toothbrush to remove dirt from around the diamonds.
- Store the ring separately in a soft pouch or lined box to prevent the pavé stones from scratching other jewellery.
