Description
This 9ct yellow gold engagement ring is a solitaire set with a 2.73ct emerald cut lab-grown diamond, held in a 4-claw head and finished with a slim polished band.
The stone
Look closely at the claws: each of the four ends in a small ball tip, which holds the corners of the 2.73ct centre stone securely while keeping the outline of the head clean. The emerald cut is elongated, with long, stepped facets that favour clarity and flashes of light across the table over sparkle. The lab-grown diamond carries a G colour and VS2 clarity grade, and these grades apply to the centre stone. As a solitaire, the total carat weight is 2.73ct. It is accompanied by an IGI certificate. Setting & band
The classic raised head lifts the stone clear of the finger, so light can enter through the crown and pavilion of the stone. The band has a court profile, a softly rounded inside that sits comfortably, and a polished finish. The shoulders are plain, so all the attention stays on the centre stone.
The metal
The ring is made in 9ct yellow gold, including the band and the four claws. The warm, buttery tone sets off the colourless character of a G colour stone, and the polished surface gives a bright, even shine.

Normal wear, accidental damage, lost stones from knocks, and alterations by third parties are not covered.
Professional cleaning, inspection, claw checks and resizing are available at either showroom.
Care guide
- Clean the 9ct yellow gold band and claws with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush, then rinse and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
- Pay attention to the underside of the stone, where soap and skin oils collect and dull the diamond.
- Have the four ball-tipped claws checked from time to time to make sure the 2.73ct emerald cut stone remains secure.
- Remove the ring for heavy manual work, gym sessions and cleaning with household chemicals.
- Store it separately in a soft pouch so the polished band is not scratched by other jewellery.
