This is a 9ct yellow gold 1.13ctw emerald cut tanzanite halo engagement ring, set with a rectangular emerald cut tanzanite centre stone surrounded by a single halo of pavé-set diamonds, each outlined with milgrain beading.
The stone
The centre stone is a rectangular emerald cut tanzanite, secured by four claw prongs at each corner. Its step-cut facets reveal the tanzanite's violet-blue colour with clarity and depth. A single halo of pavé-set diamonds encircles the tanzanite, and each diamond is framed by milgrain beading—a fine, raised edge that catches the light and adds a vintage-inspired texture to the setting. The total carat weight across all stones is 1.13ct.

The tanzanite is held in a claw setting, with four prongs anchoring the stone at its corners. The halo diamonds are pavé-set, sitting low and secure within the milgrain frame. Warranty
There is no formal manufacturer warranty on jewellery, but Cassims & Co. guarantees its workmanship: if a manufacturing defect or craftsmanship issue appears, we will repair or replace the piece at no charge. Normal wear, accidental damage, lost stones from knocks, and alterations by third parties are not covered.
Professional cleaning, inspection, claw checks and resizing are available at either showroom.
Care guide
- Remove the ring before exercising, cleaning, gardening or any activity that may expose the tanzanite to impact or abrasive surfaces.
- Clean the ring with warm water, a few drops of mild soap and a soft brush; rinse thoroughly and dry with a lint-free cloth. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and steamers, as tanzanite can be sensitive to sudden temperature changes.
- Store the ring separately in a soft pouch or lined compartment to prevent the tanzanite and diamonds from scratching other jewellery.
- Have the setting checked every 12–18 months to ensure the claw prongs and pavé diamonds remain secure, especially if you wear the ring daily.
- Avoid exposing the ring to harsh chemicals, including chlorine, bleach and household cleaners, which can damage both the tanzanite and the gold.
