Description
These 9ct yellow gold stud earrings carry 0.14ct of round diamonds in a claw-set sunburst design, and the warm yellow gold was chosen to frame the white stones with colour of its own.
The stone
At the centre sits a cluster of seven round diamonds, set close together so they read as a single sparkling heart. The diamonds are graded G-H colour and VS1 clarity is not claimed here; the grade given is VS clarity, and together with the G-H colour it applies to the diamonds. Setting & band
Each diamond is held in a claw setting, which lifts the stone clear of the metal so light can enter from the sides.
