Description
This 9ct yellow gold pendant carries a 0.02ct round diamond at the centre of a four-leaf clover, finished on a 45cm fine trace chain.
The stone
The centre stone is a round diamond of 0.02ct, graded G-H colour and SI clarity, and it is the only stone in the piece, so the total carat weight is also 0.02ct. It is illusion-set: a faceted plate sits behind the stone and enlarges its look, so the table and the crown and pavilion of the diamond read larger than the carat weight suggests. Brilliance and scintillation come from that single point of light at the centre of the clover.
Setting & band
A bezel rim in polished yellow gold encircles the diamond and holds it low-set, with no claws to catch on knitwear or hair. The four-leaf clover silhouette gives the pendant a soft, rounded outline, and the polished finish carries a bright shine across every leaf.
