Description
Look closely at the ball-tipped claws on this 9ct white gold engagement ring: six of them hold a 1.01ct marquise lab-grown diamond in a solitaire setting, each tip finished as a small, smooth bead.
The stone
The centre stone is a 1.01ct marquise-cut lab-grown diamond graded G colour and VVS2 clarity, and it carries an IGI certificate. The marquise outline, with its pointed ends and long table, gives generous finger coverage for its carat weight. Setting & band
The six-claw head lifts the marquise clear of the band, and the clean open gallery lets light enter beneath the pavilion of the stone. The diamond is set north-south, so its length runs along the finger rather than across it. The band is slim and polished, and the pavé-set shoulders carry a continuous row of small diamonds that leads the eye towards the centre stone. Warranty
There is no formal manufacturer warranty on jewellery, but Cassims & Co. guarantees its workmanship: if a manufacturing defect or craftsmanship issue appears, we will repair or replace the piece at no charge. Normal wear, accidental damage, lost stones from knocks, and alterations by third parties are not covered.
Professional cleaning, inspection, claw checks and resizing are available at either showroom.
Care guide
- Clean the ring with lukewarm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush, paying attention to the open gallery beneath the marquise.
- Remove the ring before swimming, cleaning with household chemicals or applying lotions and perfume, which can leave a film on the diamonds.
- Check the six claws regularly, especially the pointed ends of the marquise, and have any looseness looked at early.
- Store the ring separately in a soft pouch so the polished 9ct white gold is not scratched by other jewellery.
