This 9ct white gold engagement ring is a solitaire set with a 1.50ct elongated cushion lab-grown diamond, with a total carat weight of 1.74ct, and its slim, polished band is designed to sit flush beside a wedding band.
The stone
The centre stone is a 1.50ct elongated cushion lab-grown diamond, graded G colour and VS2 clarity, with an IGI certificate listed for the piece. The elongated outline gives generous finger coverage along the hand, while the soft cushion corners keep the crown and table looking rounded rather than sharp. Alongside it, lab-grown diamonds totalling 0.24ct run around the band, bringing the total carat weight to 1.74ct. Setting & band
Four round claws with ball tips hold the centre stone in a 4-Claw setting, leaving the sides of the diamond open to light. An open gallery beneath adds to that clarity of view from the side. Warranty
There is no formal manufacturer warranty on jewellery, but Cassims & Co. guarantees its workmanship: if a manufacturing defect or craftsmanship issue appears, we will repair or replace the piece at no charge. Normal wear, accidental damage, lost stones from knocks, and alterations by third parties are not covered.
Professional cleaning, inspection, claw checks and resizing are available at either showroom.
Care guide
- Clean the 9ct white gold band and stones with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush, then rinse and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
- Take the ring off before using household cleaning products, swimming or applying lotions, which can leave a film on the diamonds.
- Check the four ball-tipped claws regularly for any snagging or movement, and bring the ring to us if a claw feels loose.
- Have the pavé-set shoulders looked over from time to time to confirm the small diamonds remain secure.
- Store the ring separately from other jewellery so the polished finish is not scratched.
