Description
Look closely at the middle row of this 9ct rose gold pendant and you will find a ring of round rainbow sapphires, 0.79ct in total, running in spectrum order within a circle of life open disc design, with diamond-set inner and outer edges.
The stone
The sapphires are round and multi-coloured, arranged in spectrum order so that hue shifts gradually around the disc. Together they weigh 0.79ct, and the rainbow sapphire ring sits in the middle row, framed on both sides by diamonds set along the inner and outer edges. The result is a play of colour saturation and tone, bordered by the brilliance of the diamond-set edges.
Setting & band
The stones are held in beaded micro-claw pavé, a micro-pavé setting in which tiny claws and grains of metal hold each round stone close to its neighbour.
