This 9ct rose gold solitaire pendant carries a 0.48ct round morganite in a 4-claw setting, hung on a 45cm chain, and it sits comfortably beside a wedding band when both are worn on the same day.
The stone
The centre stone is a round morganite of 0.483ct, which gives the 0.48ct total carat weight of the piece. Its peach-pink hue reads soft rather than loud, and the faceted crown and pavilion of the stone catch light across the table to give a gentle scintillation. There are no side stones, so the morganite carries the whole design on its own.
Setting & band
Four ball-tipped claws hold the round head, and the open basket beneath lets light reach the stone from the sides as well as the top.
