This 9ct yellow gold engagement ring carries a 2.00ct round lab-grown diamond in a 4-claw solitaire setting, and the way that setting is built is what makes the ring.
The stone
The centre stone is a 2.00ct round brilliant lab-grown diamond with VS clarity, which is also the total carat weight of the ring, as there are no side stones. With a single stone of this size, the cut does the work: the table, crown and pavilion are proportioned to return brilliance, fire and scintillation across the whole face. Setting & band
Four ball-tipped claws hold the round diamond above an open under-gallery, which lets light enter from beneath and keeps the setting easy to clean. The split shank shoulders rise towards the head and frame the stone from the side, while the slim shank is polished with a court profile, rounded on the inside for a comfortable feel on the finger.
The metal
The whole ring, from the claws to the band, is 9ct yellow gold. The claws are the same metal as the shank, so the warm colour runs unbroken from the head to the back of the band. A polished finish gives it a bright, smooth surface.

Warranty
There is no formal manufacturer warranty on jewellery, but Cassims & Co. guarantees its workmanship: if a manufacturing defect or craftsmanship issue appears, we will repair or replace the piece at no charge. Normal wear, accidental damage, lost stones from knocks, and alterations by third parties are not covered.
Professional cleaning, inspection, claw checks and resizing are available at either showroom.
