This 9ct white gold engagement ring carries a 1.50ct pear-shaped lab-grown diamond in a solitaire style, chosen for the way a pale, bright metal lets the stone take centre stage.
The stone
The centre stone is a 1.50ct pear-cut lab-grown diamond with VS clarity, and that grade applies to the centre stone. As the only stone in the ring, it also makes up the total carat weight of 1.50ct. Setting & band
A three-claw pear head holds the stone, with a point claw protecting the tip of the teardrop. Beneath it, an open V-shaped basket lets light enter from the sides and keeps the profile clean. The slim, polished band has a court profile, which is rounded on both the inside and outside, and the tapered, cathedral-style shoulders rise gently to meet the head.
The metal
9ct white gold gives the ring a cool, neutral tone that sits quietly beside a white stone, and the claws, basket and band are all cast in that same metal. The polished finish is smooth and reflective across the whole ring, so the minimalist solitaire profile reads as one continuous line.

Warranty
There is no formal manufacturer warranty on jewellery, but Cassims & Co. guarantees its workmanship: if a manufacturing defect or craftsmanship issue appears, we will repair or replace the piece at no charge. Normal wear, accidental damage, lost stones from knocks, and alterations by third parties are not covered.
Professional cleaning, inspection, claw checks and resizing are available at either showroom.
Care guide
- Clean the ring in warm water with a drop of mild soap and a soft brush, working gently around the basket and under the pear head.
- Rinse well and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth to keep the polished 9ct white gold band bright.
- Have the three claws and the point claw checked regularly, as the pear tip is the most exposed part of the setting.
- Remove the ring before swimming, cleaning with household chemicals or heavy manual work.
- Store it separately in a soft pouch so the polished band does not scratch other pieces.
