Description
This 9ct White Gold dress ring carries 0.61ct of marquise amethysts and round diamonds in a half eternity layout, set in claws on a polished court-profile band.
The stone
The colour comes from the marquise-cut amethysts, which are the feature of the ring. They are set staggered and tilted, so each long, pointed stone catches the light from a slightly different angle and shows its own hue and tone as the hand moves. Between them sit pairs of round diamonds, graded G-H colour and SI clarity, which add brightness and fire beside the deeper purple. The total stone weight across the ring is 0.61ct.
Setting & band
Everything is claw set, and the diamond accents share claws, which keeps the metal between stones light. An open gallery runs between the stones, so light can pass through the ring rather than meet a solid wall of metal. The stones travel half-way round the finger, in the half eternity manner, while the slim shank has plain shoulders and a polished finish. The court profile is rounded on the inside for a smooth feel against the skin.
The metal
The band and claws are 9ct White Gold, so the setting stays in one colour from claw tip to underside of the shank. The polished surface gives a cool, bright backdrop for the purple amethysts and the white diamonds.

Warranty
There is no formal manufacturer warranty on jewellery, but Cassims & Co. guarantees its workmanship: if a manufacturing defect or craftsmanship issue appears, we will repair or replace the piece at no charge. Normal wear, accidental damage, lost stones from knocks, and alterations by third parties are not covered.
Professional cleaning, inspection, claw checks and resizing are available at either showroom.
Care guide
- Clean with lukewarm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush, paying attention to the underside of the stones.
- Rinse well and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth to keep the polished finish bright.
- Keep the ring away from hard knocks, as the tilted marquise stones have pointed ends that are best protected.
- Remove it before using household cleaners, chlorine or heavy manual work.
- Store it on its own in a soft pouch so the amethysts and the polished surface are not scratched by other pieces.
- Have the claws checked from time to time to make sure each stone remains secure.
