Cast in 9ct rose gold, this halo engagement ring carries 0.50ct total diamond weight, with a small centre diamond framed by a round halo of pavé diamonds and channel-set baguette diamonds across the shoulders.
The stone
The centre diamond is graded G-H colour and SI clarity, and it sits low and neat within the halo so the surrounding pavé carries much of the brilliance. The baguette diamonds on the shoulders total 0.44ct and are cut in a straight, stepped style that gives a cleaner, more architectural flash than a round brilliant. Together the stones account for 0.50ct of total diamond weight. Setting & band
The centre diamond is held in a 4-claw, illusion-style head, which makes a small stone read slightly larger on the hand. The baguettes are channel-set, so they sit flush within the shoulders and are protected from knocks. The flat band is wide, with milgrain beading along both edges, a vintage detail that frames the ring and adds a fine, textured finish.
The metal
We chose 9ct rose gold for its warm, coppery hue, which flatters a wide range of skin tones and gives the diamonds a soft contrast. At 9ct it is a hard-wearing alloy, well suited to a ring worn daily. The claws and halo surround can photograph lighter than the band, but the whole ring is the same 9ct rose gold.
Who it suits
This ring is made for women who prefer vintage styling over a plain solitaire, and it works as an engagement ring from the first day. The wide flat profile gives good finger coverage, and the halo gives presence without a tall crown height. A slim wedding band should sit alongside it, though we recommend trying the two together in store.

Warranty
There is no formal manufacturer warranty on jewellery, but Cassims & Co. guarantees its workmanship: if a manufacturing defect or craftsmanship issue appears, we will repair or replace the piece at no charge. Normal wear, accidental damage, lost stones from knocks, and alterations by third parties are not covered.
Professional cleaning, inspection, claw checks and resizing are available at either showroom.
Care guide
- Clean with lukewarm soapy water and a soft brush, paying attention to the pavé halo and under the centre stone, then dry with a lint-free cloth.
- Remove the ring before swimming, cleaning or using household chemicals, which can dull the 9ct rose gold and build up behind the stones.
- Have the claws on the centre head and the halo checked periodically so any loose stone is caught early.
- Take the ring off for gym work, gardening and heavy lifting, as knocks can loosen the channel-set baguettes.
- Store the ring separately in a soft pouch so the milgrain edges are not scratched by other jewellery.
