Cut from 9ct yellow gold, this engagement ring carries a 1.05ct oval lab-grown diamond in a bezel setting with a hidden halo, bringing the total diamond weight to 1.15ct.
The stone
The centre stone is a 1.05ct oval lab-grown diamond graded G colour and VS1 clarity. It is set north-south, so the length of the oval runs up the finger and gives good finger coverage from a stone of this size. The grades apply to the centre stone. Alongside it sit lab-grown diamond side stones with a total weight of 0.10ct, which build the hidden halo beneath the crown of the main stone. Setting & band
A full bezel collar wraps the girdle of the oval, holding it low-set with a clean, minimalist profile and no claws to catch on knitwear. The shank is slim and plain, with a polished finish and a court profile that is rounded on the inside for a smooth feel on the finger. The shoulders are plain, which keeps all the attention on the centre stone.
The metal
We chose 9ct yellow gold for this ring because its warm tone flatters the colour of a G-graded stone and because 9ct is a firm, durable alloy for a band worn every day. The bezel, collar and shank are all the same yellow gold, so the ring reads as one continuous piece from the stone down to the polished band.

Warranty
There is no formal manufacturer warranty on jewellery, but Cassims & Co. guarantees its workmanship: if a manufacturing defect or craftsmanship issue appears, we will repair or replace the piece at no charge. Normal wear, accidental damage, lost stones from knocks, and alterations by third parties are not covered.
Professional cleaning, inspection, claw checks and resizing are available at either showroom.
Care guide
- Clean the 9ct yellow gold band and bezel with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, then dry with a lint-free cloth.
- Remove the ring before swimming, cleaning with household chemicals or using chlorine, which can dull the polished finish.
- Take it off for gym sessions and heavy manual work to protect the bezel collar from knocks.
- Store it separately in a soft pouch so the polished shank is not scratched by other pieces.
- Have the bezel and the 1.05ct oval lab-grown diamond checked periodically at one of our showrooms.
- Lab-grown diamonds can be cleaned in the same way as the gold, using a soft brush around the underside of the bezel.
