Description
This 9ct yellow gold engagement ring carries a 1.02ct emerald cut lab-grown diamond in a 4-claw hidden halo setting, with 1.31ct total carat weight across the piece.
The stone
The centre stone is a 1.02ct emerald cut lab-grown diamond graded G colour and VS1 clarity, with an IGI certificate listed for the piece. The long, step-cut table and clean facets of the emerald cut favour clarity and flashes of light over sparkle, which is why a VS1 clarity grade matters on this shape. Pavé-set lab-grown diamonds add a further 0.29ct in total along the shoulders and band. Setting & band
Four ball-tipped claws hold the centre stone, while the hidden halo sits beneath the crown and adds brilliance when the ring is viewed from the side. The slim band has a court profile and a polished finish, and the claw-set pavé shoulders carry diamonds down the band for continued scintillation.
The metal
The ring is cast in 9ct yellow gold throughout, including the claws, the setting and the band, so the warm tone is consistent from the top of the ring to the back of the shank.

Designed as an engagement ring for women, it suits a wearer who likes a substantial emerald cut stone on a slim band. Warranty
There is no formal manufacturer warranty on jewellery, but Cassims & Co. guarantees its workmanship: if a manufacturing defect or craftsmanship issue appears, we will repair or replace the piece at no charge. Normal wear, accidental damage, lost stones from knocks, and alterations by third parties are not covered.
Professional cleaning, inspection, claw checks and resizing are available at either showroom.
Care guide
- Clean the ring in warm, mildly soapy water with a soft brush, paying attention to the underside of the emerald cut stone and the hidden halo.
- Rinse well and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth to bring back the polished finish of the 9ct yellow gold.
- Remove the ring before swimming, cleaning with household chemicals, or heavy work to protect the claws and the pavé-set diamonds.
- Store it separately in a soft pouch so the polished band is not scratched by other jewellery.
- Have the four claws and the pavé settings checked from time to time so any loose stone is caught early.
