Description
This 9ct white gold engagement ring pairs a 1.03ct princess-cut lab-grown diamond with a four-claw solitaire setting, and the way that setting is built is what draws the eye first: four petal-style claws with rounded tips hold the stone, so the corners of the princess cut are protected while the table stays open to the light.
The stone
The centre stone is a 1.03ct princess-cut lab-grown diamond, graded G colour and VS2 clarity (both grades apply to the centre stone). The square outline and sharp corners of a princess cut give strong brilliance and fire across the crown and pavilion. The shoulders carry additional lab-grown diamonds totalling 0.24ct, bringing the total carat weight to 1.27ct. These side stones are uniform round brilliants. The centre stone is accompanied by an IGI certificate. Setting & band
The 4-claw head sits above an open gallery, which lets light enter from the sides and keeps the setting light in profile. From the head, the pavé-set shoulders flare into a fishtail design before settling into a slim pavé-set band with a court profile and a polished finish. The court profile is rounded on the inside, so it sits smoothly against the finger.
The metal
The ring is made in 9ct white gold, including the claws, gallery and band. Its cool white tone suits the colourless-looking G colour centre stone and the pavé diamonds along the band.

Warranty
There is no formal manufacturer warranty on jewellery, but Cassims & Co. guarantees its workmanship: if a manufacturing defect or craftsmanship issue appears, we will repair or replace the piece at no charge. Normal wear, accidental damage, lost stones from knocks, and alterations by third parties are not covered.
Professional cleaning, inspection, claw checks and resizing are available at either showroom.
Care guide
- Clean the ring with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush, paying attention to the underside of the stone and the open gallery.
- Rinse well and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth to keep the 9ct white gold polished finish bright.
- Remove the ring before swimming, cleaning with household chemicals, gym sessions or heavy manual work.
- Check the four claws periodically for any movement or snagging, as the princess-cut corners rely on them for protection.
