Description
This 9ct yellow gold engagement ring is a solitaire built around a 1.04ct princess-cut lab-grown diamond, held in a four-claw setting with pavé-set diamond shoulders.
The stone
The centre stone is a 1.04ct princess-cut lab-grown diamond, graded G colour and VVS2 clarity. The square outline shows crisp corners, and the faceted table, crown and pavilion return light as sharp, even scintillation. The G colour and VVS2 clarity grades apply to the centre stone. Setting & band
The head is a petal-style four-claw design with ball-tipped claws, which hold the princess stone at each corner while leaving the sides open to light. The slim band is polished to a high shine, and the pavé-set shoulders add a fine line of sparkle that leads the eye towards the centre stone without crowding it.
The metal
The band, head and claws are all 9ct yellow gold, so the warm tone runs consistently from shoulder to claw tip. The high polish finish gives a smooth, reflective surface.

Warranty
There is no formal manufacturer warranty on jewellery, but Cassims & Co. guarantees its workmanship: if a manufacturing defect or craftsmanship issue appears, we will repair or replace the piece at no charge. Normal wear, accidental damage, lost stones from knocks, and alterations by third parties are not covered.
Professional cleaning, inspection, claw checks and resizing are available at either showroom.
Care guide
- Clean the 9ct yellow gold and diamonds with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush, then dry with a lint-free cloth.
- Remove the ring before cleaning with household chemicals, swimming or using a hot tub, as these can dull the polished finish.
- Have the four ball-tipped claws checked periodically, as worn or bent claws can loosen the princess stone.
- Take the ring off for gym work, gardening or heavy lifting, since the princess-cut corners are best protected from sharp knocks.
