Description
Four round-tipped claws hold the elongated cushion centre stone of this 18ct yellow gold solitaire engagement ring, which carries a 1.00ct lab-grown diamond and 0.14ct of lab-grown diamond pavé on the shoulders.
The stone
The centre stone is a 1.00ct lab-grown diamond cut as an elongated cushion, graded F colour and SI clarity, with an IGI certificate listed for the piece. The elongated outline gives generous finger coverage for its carat weight, while the soft cushion corners keep the table and crown looking rounded rather than angular. Along the shoulders, lab-grown diamonds totalling 0.14ct are pavé-set as small, uniform round accent stones. Together the stones come to 1.14ct total carat weight. Setting & band
This is a 4-claw solitaire. Each claw ends in a rounded tip, and through the open gallery you can see light entering the stone from the sides as well as the top. The band is slim with a polished finish, and the pavé-set shoulders add a fine line of sparkle that leads the eye towards the centre stone without competing with it.
The metal
The whole ring, from claws to band, is 18ct yellow gold. Because the claws, gallery and shank are all the same gold, the colour reads consistently from every angle, with the polished surface giving a warm, even gleam beside the white diamonds.
Who it suits
Listed as an engagement ring for women, it suits a wearer who likes a single clear focal stone with a little detail at the shoulders. The slim band leaves room alongside it for a wedding band, and a plain band will sit comfortably next to the pavé shoulders. Warranty
There is no formal manufacturer warranty on jewellery, but Cassims & Co. guarantees its workmanship: if a manufacturing defect or craftsmanship issue appears, we will repair or replace the piece at no charge. Normal wear, accidental damage, lost stones from knocks, and alterations by third parties are not covered.
Professional cleaning, inspection, claw checks and resizing are available at either showroom.
Care guide
- Clean the ring in warm, mildly soapy water and brush gently with a soft brush behind the stone and along the pavé shoulders.
- Dry with a soft lint-free cloth to keep the polished 18ct yellow gold bright.
- Have the four claws checked periodically so the 1.00ct centre stone stays secure.
- Remove the ring before swimming, cleaning with household chemicals or heavy manual work to protect the gold and the small pavé stones.
- Store it on its own in a soft pouch so other pieces do not scratch the polished finish.
