Cut from 14ct white gold, these 0.57ctw round tanzanite and diamond stud earrings pair a centre tanzanite with a single pavé diamond halo, set in four claws on a push-back post.
The stone
Each earring is centred on a round tanzanite, the stone that gives the pair its colour saturation, with hue and tone that read as a deep violet-blue against the pale metal. Around every tanzanite sits a single halo of pavé diamonds, claw-set with a beaded edge, so the brilliance of the white stones frames the coloured centre. The combined weight of tanzanite and diamond across the pair is 0.57ct.
Setting & band
The tanzanite is held in a 4-Claw setting, which keeps the table of the stone open to the light. Beneath the centre stone there is an open gallery, so light can reach the pavilion of the tanzanite from the side as well as from above. The finish is polished throughout, and the matched pair closes with a push-back post.
