Description
This 9ct yellow gold engagement ring carries 2.01ctw of lab-grown diamond in a trilogy style, with an oval centre stone flanked by two round side stones, and it is the kind of ring a proposal is built around.
The stone
The oval centre stone is graded G colour and VS2 clarity, and it anchors the design with generous finger coverage along the hand. Its girdle is held by four claws, leaving the table open to the light so the brilliance and fire read clearly. Two round side stones sit either side of it, totalling 0.49ct. All of the diamonds are lab-grown, and the ring is accompanied by an IGI certificate. Setting & band
Each of the three stones is secured by a 4-claw head with ball-tipped claws, and the open-sided baskets let light enter from the sides as well as the top. The shoulders are pavé-set, with graduated diamonds running along a slim tapered shank, so the sparkle continues down the finger. The finish is polished throughout.
The metal
The whole ring, from the claws and baskets to the band, is 9ct yellow gold. The warm tone gives the white diamonds a soft contrast, and the polished surface catches the light along the shank.
Who it suits
As an engagement ring designed for women, it suits someone who likes a three-stone composition with a clear oval focal point. The slim tapered band leaves room alongside a wedding band, and a plain band would sit neatly against the pavé shoulders. If you would like a variation on this design, it can also be made to order.

Warranty
There is no formal manufacturer warranty on jewellery, but Cassims & Co. guarantees its workmanship: if a manufacturing defect or craftsmanship issue appears, we will repair or replace the piece at no charge. Normal wear, accidental damage, lost stones from knocks, and alterations by third parties are not covered.
Professional cleaning, inspection, claw checks and resizing are available at either showroom.
Care guide
- Clean with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush, working gently around the baskets and under the stones.
- Rinse well and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth to keep the polished 9ct yellow gold bright.
- Remove the ring before swimming, cleaning with chemicals or heavy manual work to protect the gold and the stones.
- Store it separately in a soft pouch so the diamonds and polished surfaces are not scratched by other pieces.
- Have the claws and pavé shoulders checked periodically so loose stones are caught early.
